Blood Moons?

There's been  a lot of "talk"  recently about blood moons, a term which * NASA uses to describe total lunar eclipses-"blood" because  the moon appears to become red.  In his book Four Blood Moons: Something Is About to Change, John Hagee explains what he believes to be the significance of  the upcoming 4  consecutive blood moons (tetrad) beginning April 15, 2014 and ending September 28, 2015, which coincide with several feast days on the Hebrew calendar.  You can see see his interview on Fox News at the following link:

This interest in blood moons is largely associated with a revival of  interest in  events related to the end of time.  Dr. Billye Brim has taught on the prophetic significance of the upcoming events as is first mentioned in Genesis 1:14  where God said that as well as giving light and dividing day and night that the sun and moon would also be for "signs and seasons, and for days and years."   Seasons here is "moed"  which in the Hebrew means a fixed time, or/and a fixed place.  Dr Brim also lays a Biblical foundation for her beliefs concerning events which have already occurred as well as prophetic events on God's calendar which remain unfulfilled. In her teaching she explains how the upcoming tetrad may very well point to signs relating to the end of time as we understand time.  Though not a direct quote she tells of how God spoke to her in her spirit telling her how He took a segment of eternity and called it "time" which He created precisely, scientifically and mathematically for His dealing with man because of the fall.  She further said that each second ticks off time  until you come to the end of the amount of time allotted.

At the following link you will be able to watch two weeks of teaching by Dr. Brim  with Gloria Copeland on the Believers Voice of Victory website.  You can watch it online or download the video or audio in its entirety.  The first week video, Feb. 10-14, 2014 can be seen  HERE, and the second week video Feb. 17 -21, 2014 can be  seen HERE.  To download video or audio go HERE and in the search box type the dates given one week at a time and choose "Billye Brim" from the drop-down menu  where "name" is indicated.  I believe you'll find this series
of teachings very interesting and informative.  You'll discover how rare the occurrence of the blood moons is especially in relation to their coinciding with consecutive Feasts of Tabernacles and Passover, then Tabernacles and Passover again.  Quite interesting indeed!

And another side note, in between the the 4 blood moons,  a solar eclipse will also occur  on March 20, 2015.

So until next time, blessings to all and  I trust you'll enjoy discovering the "much more" which is available to you on the links provided, especially since we are in the season for these things to occur!

*At the NASA site you'll find a link to why the color of the moon looks red and discover more information concerning blood moons and tetrads.

I decided it would be a good time, while still in transition, to re-post a blog from my original blog, oneofthebeargirls.  Since it's a foundational concept [truth ] to most everything I share, now at the outset seems to be a good time to look at it again.  Following is  "A Speaking What" posted October 19, 2013

A Speaking What?

I’ve been looking forward to this entry for a while but wasn’t certain how to present it, but since it’s such a foundational truth (as far as I’m concerned) if we’d like to understand more about how God created man to function in His Likeness, I decided it’s time to go for it.

In my June 25, 2013 entry entitled  Three Lives? I posted some information regarding the plural form of the word “life” which was used in Genesis 2:7.  Here’s the original King James Version of that verse:
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
And here’s how it reads if you replace the word “life” with the plural form as it is in the original Hebrew:
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives; and man became a living soul.
So man became a “living soul” once God breathed the breath of lives into him making all 3 parts of man-his spirit, his soul and his body-one living being created in God’s own likeness.  Genesis 1:1 confirms through the Hebrew translation this very fact.  In sharing what Derek Prince wrote in his book War in Heaven,  I wrote that  plural nouns or pronouns normally require a plural verb, but in Genesis 1:1 this is not the case at all:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (my emphasis).
Here, “God” is plural (Elohim) while “created” is singular establishing God as a Triune Being though functionally One, so in His likeness He created man to be as He was and is.  Unfortunately this oneness-along with complete contentment and satisfaction in their whole being because of their union with God-ended with Adam's and Eve’s choice to follow the deceiver’s voice rather than God’s.

I’ve written all this in order to share another discovery found in those few words contained in Genesis 2:7, but first I want to say how captivated I am by the precision of it all-the amount of revelation packed in such a few words-how interesting, and very impressive in design has everything been laid out, both in the actual creation and in the use of words to describe it accurately!

Now, finally, another secret intimated in the use of the words “living soul” in Genesis 2:7.  This bit of information comes from The Stone Edition of the Chumash, a Hebrew commentary which includes comments from the Sages-Jewish scholars.  I’d  heard of this particular reference from several sources over the course of a few years before I decided to look into it and see for myself. The following is what I found: One of the Sages says that the soul mentioned in verse 7 was made a “speaking spirit,” because only God could “blow” into man a rational soul which includes intelligent speech.

Once again, here’s the verse as it is written in Genesis 2:7  King James Version:
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
And here’s what it looks like with the inclusion of the information we’ve discovered:
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives; and man became a speaking spirit (emphasis mine).
This information confirms  to me the fact that we, Man, were indeed created in God’s likeness, having been given dominion and authority  as stated in Genesis 1:26-29.  And how else was man to have dominion over the earth and the creatures God created, except by speaking words even as God had dominion and created by speaking?  All authorities rule with words, Kings, lawmakers, police officers, judges, magistrates of all kinds.  Look around in everyday life.  Bosses rule over employees, teachers over classrooms, doctors over patients. Those in authority rule with words!  Just look through the Bible and see how important words are. However, we, mankind, were never meant to have dominion except under God’s perfect understanding and authority while in relationship to Him.  All that changed when Adam and Eve fell into deception, rebelled against God losing their authority to the evil one  until Jesus came and, as the Son of Man, bought back-paid the ransom so to speak- to restore Mankind’s breath of lives to all who choose to receive Him and the payment He made...since the payment and the Man who made it can’t be separated because the rate of exchange here is His life for ours.  And once the we make the great exchange, through the renewing of the mind we once again can become a proper speaking spirit, speaking intelligent words of life in agreement with Life Himself.

And now, this is all I can write intelligently!  So hopefully, there will be more insights into this process in future blogs, and for this I’m very much looking forward since the greater the understanding we receive of God’s higher ways for us, the greater the ability He gives us to begin walking it out in our daily lives....and really, who’s not interested in having more Life, more victory and more  peace.  Sounds, well, heavenly to me!

So....I guess "miracles" do happen...

Seems like only yesterday (pun intended!) I posted something about it taking a miracle to get this new blog's design up and  going before the end of March.   Well, "tah dah!"   To my surprise,  I've had the time work on it and settle in on the simplicity of this format which is much like my previous one with a few minor changes.

I guess the biggest change will be in content.   And I'm discovering that as I go along.  All I can say now is that I want it to be more of a heart to heart sharing.  And as I said, I'll discover what that really means as I go with it, but I'm ready to begin again where I am today.   More will follow in the days ahead and I do hope that those who have visited One of the Bear Girls before, will find One of the Bear Girls too!

There's more work to do before the design here is complete, but it's ready now for posting, as  you can see.

Posts will probably be sporadic as before, but I'm looking forward to  continuing here with you!

Oneofthebeargirls New Blog

Oneofthebeargirls  new blog with a slightly different name is in the works.   What you see now is not the  permanent  look and, hopefully, it will look much better by the end of March...hope you can "bear" with me until then.   Looking forward to coming back in a new way in this new year.  It would take a miracle to get it going before.... but who knows...just maybe!
